HOW TO USE THIS SITE

Searching
The Underwood Archives site provides an easy-to-search database for our growing collection of images. You can browse by category, phrase, or keyword in the search box to give direction to your search. All of the images on this site have keywords imbedded (in) them. The scope of your search results is determined by your selection of keywords. An Advanced Search option is available to help you locate specific images or locations.

The Lightbox
The Lightbox is your collection of images. You may add up to 100 images to your lightbox. If you wish to license an image that is in your lightbox, click “Send Lightbox to Underwood Licensing Dept,” and add your contact information in the fields to speed reply.

Personal Use
If you wish to order prints of images found on this site for personal use only, please contact use at xxx@underwoodarchives.com for a quote.

Pricing
To provide a rate quote for any usage, we need to know the following:
• Media: print, web, ? •
• Industry: advertising, text book, etc. •
• Distribution: local, regional, national, international •
• Size of final output: 1/4 page, full-screen, etc. •
• Circulation size •
• Duration of run •

Rights
You are granted a license for a ONE TIME NON-EXCLUSIVE USE -This means that you can use the image for one type of publication or web domain only. If you use the image in a brochure, you do not have the right to create a new product such as a magazine ad which uses the same image.

Model release information?

Please contact us at (650) 851-5190 if exclusive usage is required.

Delivery: Image files can be delivered via FTP, e-mail attachment, or sent on CD/DVD.

Scan Resolution: Most of our scan library consists of 48MB high res TIFF scans.
Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to produce scans on request.
